Lark Creek Walnut Creek, a leading American Restaurant in Downtown Walnut Creek is hiring an experienced Sous Chef.

Individual will be responsible for insuring the proper execution of restaurant operations. Works with the kitchen team, controls performance, product quality and production flow. Be Hands on behind the heat during service hours, as well maintains, orders and organizes inventory daily. Ensures kitchen is in compliance with health, safety and sanitation standards.

The ideal candidate must possess the following traits:
• A passion for cooking, teaching and leading
• Posses a work ethic that seeks to exceed guest expectations
• A coaching style that motivates others to achieve organizational, restaurant and individual goals.
• Ability to create specials and have input on a seasonal menu
Job Requires:
• a minimum of 3 years experience as a sous chef in fine dining environment
• Strong Communication Skills and Spanish bilingual is a plus.
