We are accepting applications for a Full-Time Warehouse Supervisor position at our Fillmore Store location.
JOB FUNCTIONS:
• Receives all products coming into the warehouse and maintaining receiving logs.
• Codes and processes all invoices, insuring that they are sent to accounting in the required time period.
• Coordinate transfers between stores (Fillmore and Polk stores)
• Ordering and maintaining store supplies.
• Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
• Maintains physical condition of warehouse, organizing, sweeping, mopping, compacting trash and cardboard and scheduling waste removal as needed.
• Inspecting equipment and requesting repairs as needed.
• Stock groceries, beer and wine and front end paper goods as needed during slow times.
• Contributes to team effort by taking special projects as needed.
PHYSICAL/ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS:
- Ability to safely handle up to 50 lb cases, containers, and bags
- Standing for up to eight hours
- Job involves repetitive tasks
- Exposure to food ingredients and cleaning agents
- Working indoors and out, also in refrigeration
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• Experience in warehousing preferred
• Capable of lifting 50 lbs.
• Experienced in use of a bailer, hand trucks and pallet jacks
• Proficient in word and excel (Microsoft office)
• Ability to type 40 WPM
• Strong employee relations and customer service skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Solid problem solving skills
