Job Description:
We are looking for a self-motivated, results-driven Dining Room Manager.
Personal organization of daily operations and the managing of guests and staff are the main requirements of the position.
The position also requires that you are involved in all facets of restaurant operations, listed as follows:
• Management of daily floor operations, ensuring that performance during each meal period is in line with our hospitality philosophy.
• Daily service training and staff development on a group and individual level so each member of the team is equipped with our service standards and products.
• The ability to manage and work within different group dynamics - managers, employees and guests.
• The building of genuine relationships with guests that contributes to the core of our business and an enthusiasm to maintain those relationships.
• A proven ability to facilitate revenue generation through positive guest interaction and team development.
• A solid background in the following programs: Open Table, Restaurant POS, Microsoft Word and Excel.
Our restaurant is looking for a person who enjoys leading daily operations along with developing and maintaining strong guest relations.
Other requirements
• Keep pricing structures and costs in line with our staff and service requirements
• Create and maintain guides for staff requirements and morale.
• Conduct site visits and tours with potential clients
• Oversee the maintenance of staff and human resource requirements to ensure a successful and motivated work environment.
