WorkersNow in the Press
At Job Hunters Boot Camp - June 7, 2011
SAN MATEO, CA - WorkersNow joins Congresswoman Jackie Speier and about 20 other local businesses at College of San Mateo today to help people get back to work. This is Congresswoman Speier’s 6th Job Hunters Boot Camp since January 2010. So far, more than 3,000 people have attended the boot camps.
WorkersNow is focused on getting blue collar workers back on the job. Unemployment in the construction industry is at more than 16 percent. That’s nearly double the national average in other industries.
The San Francisco-based company offers a meeting place for blue collar workers. They can sign up for a free profile at www.WorkersNow.com, which works as an online resume. Workers can also find job opportunities and get access to skills training through our partnerships with trade schools across the country.
WorkersNow is pleased to join Congresswoman Speier in today’s Job Hunters Boot Camp to help people get the training and guidance they need to get back to work.
