Fish. Restaurant in Sausalito seeks a well qualified individual to join us as Hospitality Manager.

This position embraces the environmental stewardship set by Fish and is responsible for total
customer satisfaction though direct interface and indirect methods, i.e. facility appearance, events and
team attitude.

The right candidate will interface with both front and back of house, to insure that each customer
receives the kindness, warmth and graciousness that has been the benchmark of Fish since 2004.

Responsibilities include:
  • Hire qualified personnel according to standards
  • Organize and coordinate operations to ensure maximum efficiency
  • Supervise and evaluate staff
  • Ensure supplies and equipment are adequate in quantity and quality
  • Handle customer complaints when necessary
  • Assist in pricing products or services
  • Assume responsibility of budgeting and monitoring expenses
  • Enforce adherence to regulations and quality standards
  • Ensure all records are kept properly and consistently
  • Review and prepare reports for senior management
  • Proven experience as hospitality manager
  • Hands-on experience in customer service or sales
  • Solid understanding of hospitality procedures and best practices
  • Knowledge of quality standards (e.g. ISO)
  • Proficient in MS Office and relevant software (e.g. ERP)
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Outstanding communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
  • Problem-solving aptitude
  • BSc/BA in hospitality management
Starting salary of 65k.

-Safely deliver high quality seafood to the most talented chefs in the Bay Area
-Ensure compliance with all company policies, sanitation and safety procedures
-Ensure accurate production and timely order fulfillment 
-Deliver Monday through Saturday in company vehicles - scheduling decided upon hire
-Approximately 35-40 hours per week

*Ideal Candidate*

-Delivery driving experience. 
-Experience in the Seafood Industry 
-Knows way around SF, East Bay, North Bay and South Bay
-Able to work early morning hours, Saturdays, and possibly some holidays. 
-Able to stand/sit for long periods of time, lift up to 80 pounds, bend, squat, and reach repeatedly 
-Hard working, outgoing personality, good sense of humor, and ability to work as a part of a team in a dynamic fast paced environment are a must.
-Knowledge of restaurant/seafood industries and culinary applications of seafood a plus
-Maintain a high standard of quality with regard to product, people, sanitation and safety.
-Maintain effective channels of communication with co-workers, manager, and owners
-Valid Driver's License, clean DMV record, and the ability to work in the US is required.
