<p>Foresight is seeking candidates&nbsp;to perform&nbsp;construction scheduling duties for&nbsp;transportation (highway, bridge, and transit) and other infrastructure&nbsp;projects in Texas.&nbsp;</p>
<p><strong>Roles and Responsibilities:&nbsp;</strong>As a key member of our&nbsp;team, the selected candidate will be given an opportunity to wear multiple hats&nbsp;and to help&nbsp;grow&nbsp;the company&rsquo;s construction scheduling service&nbsp;offerings. We are willing to train schedulers who do not have specific transportation industry experience, but are familiar/experienced with the Critical Path Method (CPM) technique for construction projects.</p>
<p>Key roles/responsibilities&nbsp;may include, but not be limited to&nbsp;performance and/or oversight of the following:</p>
<ul>
<li data-leveltext="" data-font="Symbol" data-listid="1" data-aria-posinset="1" data-aria-level="1">Developing and/or managing project schedules&nbsp;using CPM for the&nbsp;delivery&nbsp;of transportation projects</li>
<li data-leveltext="" data-font="Symbol" data-listid="1" data-aria-posinset="1" data-aria-level="1">Ensuring schedule compliance with relevant contract requirements&nbsp;</li>
<li data-leveltext="" data-font="Symbol" data-listid="1" data-aria-posinset="2" data-aria-level="1">Tracking&nbsp;and reporting overall&nbsp;project progress and critical path activities</li>
<li data-leveltext="" data-font="Symbol" data-listid="1" data-aria-posinset="4" data-aria-level="1">Identifying, measuring, and reporting the impacts of any changes on a project&rsquo;s schedule, and providing other schedule analyses to support project decisions and resolve&nbsp;disputes&nbsp;or claims</li>

<li data-leveltext="" data-font="Symbol" data-listid="6" data-aria-posinset="1" data-aria-level="1">At least three (3)&nbsp;years of experience performing project scheduling, project controls, and/or construction management duties for&nbsp;transportation, utility, oil and gas, building/architectural, or other infrastructure projects</li>
<li data-leveltext="" data-font="Symbol" data-listid="6" data-aria-posinset="2" data-aria-level="1">Demonstrated progressive&nbsp;experience&nbsp;with&nbsp;the CPM technique to manage project schedules&nbsp;</li>
<li data-leveltext="" data-font="Symbol" data-listid="6" data-aria-posinset="3" data-aria-level="1">Working knowledge of scheduling software such as Primavera P6/P3 or Microsoft Project</li>

About Us

Foresight provides specialized services in scheduling/ project controls, planning, public involvement, communications, and risk management for transportation and other public infrastructure projects.

Our primary goals are to save our clients time and money, minimize their risks, and support the successful development and implementation of high-quality, high-value projects through the use of common sense planning/scheduling techniques, effective communication, and innovative technologies.

Foresight feels like family. That's partially because it was started by a family, literally. The owners are a husband and wife team who wanted to provide opportunities for others to grow professionally in needed "niche" transportation planning and engineering services, and to help form and maintain a company culture built primarily around strong relationships - both internally and externally. We emphasize quality, integrity, and a willingness to roll up our sleeves, as well as the importance of striking a work-life balance and having fun with what we do.

We are looking for self-motivated applicants who take initiative and can work independently, but who are also willing to learn and grow with our small business. All Foresight employees wear multiple hats that require technical competence to perform specific work for transportation projects, as well as "softer" skills to develop and maintain relationships with clients, project team members, and other stakeholders.
