Looking for a Manager minimum 1 year management experience.
An upscale quickserve deli/ coffee shop near the Embarcadero is looking for an experienced cook/manager. We pride ourselves on using local organic ingredients, crafting creative menus and catering to our loyal patrons. We are looking for dynamic and reliable people to add to our team! We're a small shop so this is a working Manager role, not solely supervising.
For this position, the following is required:
Devoted people manager who takes pride in the success of his/her team
Can function with confidence as the leader in the owner's absence
Passionate about high quality service & organic sustainable food
Highly organized and hands on; not afraid to roll up sleeves
Extroverted individual who thrives in a busy and diverse team environment
Able to remain professional and effective in stressful situations
Food safety certified as a manager
Management Duties include:
Working Supervisor for Front and back of house staff on a daily basis (Mon-Fri)
Basic Food Prep Knowledge
Ensuring the consistent high quality of food, beverage and customer service
Fulfilling catering orders
Managing Food and Labor Costs
Training and scheduling staff
Third wave coffee experience
Must have open availability Monday-Friday.
Must have leadership experience
Must be fast with an attention to detail.
