Primary Responsibilities:

Guest Services Supervisors at The Sanctuary oversee the day-to day operation of three vital areas of our AAA Five Diamond/Forbes Five Star hotel. They tirelessly manage and motivate the Guest Services team that consists of Valet Parking, Door Attendants, Bell Attendants and Overnight Bell Attendant. They possess the keen ability to effectively deal with guests’ conflicts and will consistently perform their job duties effortlessly.

Guest Services Supervisors are integral to the entire guest experience, as this department is the first contact our guests & patrons have with The Sanctuary. They “set the tone” for the guests entire stay at our hotel.

This position also will oversee the departure experience at the resort as well, as we are the “last impression” that our guests have of the resort. Guest Service Supervisors are able to see problems before they exist, anticipate what is needed before it is asked for and effectively balance the needs of our guests and employees.



Tasks Performed

Consistently meet or exceed service standards as it pertains to our guests’ requests.

Ability to lift 50 pounds; work in an outdoor environment with a variety of seasonal temperatures. Coordinating guests/group luggage for timely delivery/pick-up from guestrooms.

Inventory, tag and pull guest and/or group golf clubs in accordance with established service standards. Organize, assemble and distribute group/wedding amenities and keep detailed follow-up records of their delivery. Have a keen eye for detail and continually monitor the operations of three vital areas and be able to foresee operational challenges. Ability to always anticipate what our employees will need and what our guests will be asking for is paramount to be successful in this job.



Essential Responsibilities

Ability to coordinate, monitor and assist the Bell Attendants, Concierge, Door Attendants and Valet Parking operations in order to ensure an ideal guest experience.

Daily reinforcement/monitoring of the hotels standards and values to ensure our guests and patrons receive a truly five star experience from start to finish.

Coordinating guests and group luggage for timely delivery to and pick-up from guestrooms.

Be available to assist in any area of the operation when needed

Minimum Physical Requirements

Must be able to stand for long periods on their feet; ability to lift 50 pounds; work in an outdoor environment with a variety of seasonal temperatures; 90% of shift includes standing, walking or bending.
