The Table, a Michelin-recommended, farm-to-table restaurant located in San Jose's charming Willow Glen neighborhood, is seeking an organized and highly motivated individual to work with our culinary team.

The qualified individual should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a fine dining or farm-to-table environment. Energy, passion and professionalism are keys to success in our restaurant.

Position Details

  • Assist in ordering, inventory & scheduling
  • Menu planning in conjunction with Chef
  • Review menus and event orders, plan prep and execution of all food components
  • Cook on the line in conjunction with culinary team


The Qualified Applicant will Possess the Following Experience and Qualifications

  • Ordering and inventory control of all food products
  • Control of all food and labor costs in a high volume restaurant
  • Negotiating pricing on all products and overseeing vendor quality
  • Maintaining food production quality within existing standards and establishing new standards as needed
  • Ability to collaborate with the Chef on new dishes while keeping within a seasonal, farm-to-table style
  • Spanish language fluency is a plus
  • A culinary education and practical experience commensurate with the industry standard for this position
  • Training new and seasoned staff in proper culinary techniques
  • Developing loyal qualified BOH staff by creating a safe and rewarding environment
  • Responsible for overall management of the facility with the collaboration of the General Manager
