<p>Hawks Provisions and Public House in East Sacramento is seeking knowledgeable, friendly and passionate staff to join our team. </p>
<p>We are now hiring Servers, Server Assistant and a Part Time Host for our busy season ahead. Servers should have serving experience with an understanding of proper steps of service, knowledge of classic cooking techniques and some knowledge of craft cocktails, wine and craft beers. Server Assistants should have an understanding of table maintenance, ability to step in when we are in need of a Runner by expediting food to its proper tables.</p>
<p><strong>Responsibilities include</strong>:</p>
<ul>
<li>Making menu suggestions and describing the dishes to guests</li>
<li>Delivering food to tables</li>
<li>Overseeing table maintenance</li>
<li>Monitoring guest satisfaction</li>
<li>Familiar with POS</li>
<li>Some knowledge of Open Table</li>
</ul>
<p>Host position requires a great understanding of hospitality and what is required to welcome everyone with a gracious and friendly demeanor.</p>
<p><strong>Responsibilities include</strong>:</p>
<ul>
<li>Greeting and thanking all customers</li>
<li>Planning and executing the seating for the evening</li>
<li>Answering the phones and providing information about the restaurant</li>
<li>Clearly and concisely communicating to both guests and employees</li>
</ul>
<p>Must have a flexible schedule and be available nights, weekends and holidays. Host experience in a quality restaurant preferred along with familiarity with OpenTable.</p>
<p>Servers and Server Assistants must have a flexible schedule. </p>
