Housekeeping Guest Room Inspector (2) Part Time

Seeking a highly skilled and effective Housekeeping Guest Room Inspector to join our team! Provide organization, instruction and guidance to members of the Housekeeping staff. Ensure completion of daily objectives while maintaining the Hilton Waterfront Beach Resort's standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Distribute/delegate room and cleaning assignments to Housekeeping associates.
  • Supervise and monitor work performance of associates by conducting room inspections. Provide coaching when needed with assistance of Director of Housekeeping.
  • Plan and conduct staff meetings to ensure open communication amongst associates. Attend various operational related meetings to obtain and disseminate pertinent information.
  • Assist room attendants and house persons in securing all supplies and tools necessary for the completion of daily tasks.
  • Plan and implement resort-wide changes such as those affecting amenity set-ups or communication pieces.
  • Monitor proper use and compliance with hazardous chemicals
  • Expedite all requests by guests.
  • Ensure “Do Not Disturb” signs are properly maintained.
  • Attend to guest complaints and requests regarding guest room services and ensure appropriate follow-up procedures.
  • Routinely inspect work areas to detect unsafe conditions and work practices. Utilize company self-inspection checklists as required for documentation.
  • Other duties as assigned or requested.


  • Ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and pleasantly in English with guests and staff as is necessary to effectively run the department and service customer needs.
  • Ability to read and write basic English to complete necessary reports and understand instructions/information.
  • Maintain a commitment to consistently provide friendly service, and consistently providing the highest quality product and value to every guest on every occasion.

Position will be required to work varied schedule that may include evenings/nights, weekends and holidays. Minimum of two years supervisory and/or management experience in Hotel industry preferred.
