<p><strong><u>Certified Medical Assistant (MA) </u></strong></p>
<p>Austin, TX</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Currently seeking a Medical Assistant for direct hire, temp to hire and contract opportunities in the Austin area. The ideal candidate will be Nationally Certified and possess at least 1 year of experience working in a clinic.</p>
<p> </p>
<p><strong>Responsibilities of the Certified Medical Assistant (MA) </strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Escort patients to and from exam rooms, physician offices, and treatment room as appropriate.</li>
<li>Obtain all necessary patient records as required by physician prior to treatment or procedures.</li>
<li>Prepare and stock exam/treatment rooms and orders supplies as needed.</li>
<li>Assist physicians with exams and procedures as requested.</li>
<li>Provide phone triage when needed.</li>
<li>Record patient data prior to each physician visit, including but not limited to, vital signs, height, weight, allergies, and medication changes.</li>
<li>Administers injections.</li>
</ul>

<p><strong>Requirements of the Certified Medical Assistant (MA) </strong></p>
<ul>
<li>High school diploma or GED required</li>
<li>Nationally Certified </li>
<li>Must have at least 1 year of experience working in a clinic</li>
<li>Must have current CPR</li>
<li>Bilingual preferred </li>
<li>Must have reliable transportation</li>
</ul>
