We are an established, world-wide manufacturing company downtown, seeking a well-groomed, energetic, organized, detail-oriented, reliable team player with excellent communication and computer skills who has a "CAN DO ATTITUDE". This individual will provide customer service/clerical support to the President's Office and provide the HR department with front-office reception relief and related HR duties during lunch and vacations & absences.
This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week from 9:00am to 5:00pm (with a 1 hour break inbetween from 1-2pm)
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES include
• Maintain a welcoming environment for customers
• Answer & direct phone calls, take accurate messages and relay them quickly.
• E-mail regular correspondence and technical documents with high accuracy
• Handle all reception & HR admin activities when relieving (greet guests, sort mail, act as an information resource to other members.
• Assist with on-boarding new employees
• Set up appointments for job applicants
• File, collate and fax various documents, some containing confidential information
QUALIFICATION AND REQUIREMENTS include:
• High School Diploma, some college highly preferred
• Must have at least 2 years' recent & related administrative & reception experience in a BUSY OFFICE.
• Must have VERY GOOD COMPUTER SKILLS -- MS Word, PowerPoint, Outlook & Excel (to create spreadsheets).
• Must have an EXCELLENT TELEPHONE MANNER
• Must have the ability to MULTI-TASK & work on assignments requiring ATTENTION TO DETAILS including working with technical data sheets.
• Must be a PROFESSIONAL, WELL-GROOMED & RELIABLE TEAM PLAYER with INTEGRITY & a HIGH WORK ETHIC.
• Must have EXCELLENT VERBAL & WRITTEN COMMUNICATION SKILLS.
• Must be AVAILABLE ON SHORT NOTICE to work more hours or alternate hours, if needed.
• Must have an EXCELLENT ATTENDANCE RECORD.
• Must have EXCELLENT ORGANIZATIONAL SKILLS.
