<p><strong>Overview:</strong></p>
<p>Tierra Mia Coffee Company is seeking a highly motivated and energetic individual for the position of Facilities Maintenance Technician. The Facilities Maintenance Technician will be responsible for repairs and maintenance of the buildings and grounds at all Tierra Mia Coffee locations. The ideal candidate has experience with construction, repairs, installations and general maintenance and cleaning for a multi-unit organization and the ability to perform tasks related to HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drywall, carpentry, tile, and painting. The role will be a full-time salaried position with a compensation package that is competitive with similar positions in the area and reflects the experience of the selected candidate. </p>
<p><strong> </strong></p>
<p><strong>Time Commitment: </strong>Full-time, including some nights and weekends.</p>
<p><strong>Compensation: </strong>Base pay, performance-based bonus, and benefits competitive with local industry standards.</p>

<p><strong>Duties/Responsibilities:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Regularly inspect and perform preventative maintenance on facilities and equipment;</li>
<li>Ensure that Tierra Mia Coffee retail locations are maintained in a safe and hazard-free condition;</li>
<li>Clean and refurbish equipment, buildings, and grounds of Tierra Mia Coffee retail locations;</li>
<li>Assist with installation and repair of refrigerators, ice machines, HVAC, and coffee equipment;</li>
<li>Perform general construction including drywall repairs and tile work repairs;</li>
<li>Perform rudimentary plumbing and electrical repairs;</li>
<li>Paint interior and exterior of buildings;</li>
<li>Inspection and repair of bathroom equipment, store furniture, tiles, ceilings and roofing;</li>
<li>Drive facilities truck to transport equipment and materials to Tierra Mia Coffee locations;</li>
<li>Perform general carpentry and light construction tasks;</li>
<li>Monitor and review maintenance costs and invoices.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Skills/Experience:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>At least 2 years of experience in construction, building maintenance, repairs and alterations;</li>
<li>General understanding of drywall, tile, carpentry, plumbing, electrical and HVAC repair;</li>
<li>Competence with common repair and carpentry equipment, and familiarity with heavy equipment;</li>
<li>Ability to multi-task and work on several different projects simultaneously;</li>
<li>Great work ethic and thrives in a fast-paced environment;</li>
<li>Strong verbal communication skills and effectiveness in working with vendors and contractors;</li>
<li>Self-starter who is able to work with and without direct supervision. </li>
