We are looking for an energetic, outgoing and reliable supervisor with preferably hotel and banquet experience to join our team.

SUMMARY
The Restaurant Supervisor is responsible for providing a consistently excellent dining experience. The Restaurant Supervisor is committed to delivering genuine hospitality to our guests through personal dedication and teamwork. Work hours/days vary as dictated by business needs, and may include weekends and holidays.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Welcome and greet guests. Make all our guests feel comfortable.
• Direct guests to their tables, present menus, suggest dishes, assist in drink selection, and inform guests about food preparation details.
• Inform guests of "Daily Specials" and menu changes.
• Make recommendations you genuinely feel your guests will enjoy.
• Prepare tables, laying out napkins and utensils, making sure the condiments are refilled, performing all other preparation tasks.
• Answer any questions regarding wine list.
• Help deliver food and beverages from kitchen to guests in a timely matter.
• Monitor and observe guests dining experience. Ensure guests are satisfied with the food and service. Respond promptly and courteously to any requests.
• Be ready and willing to assist the staff as situations arise.
• Thank guests for their visit and invite them to return.
• Keep Poolside clean and up to standard set by the Management team.
• Adhere to grooming and appearance standards consistently.

RESTAURANT SUPERVISOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Monitor servers, bartenders and busser's adherence to all service standards.
• Make sure that the service staff are seated evenly/fairly accordingly to pace as well as monetary concerns.
• Ensure proper staffing levels at all times, cut or staff up as needed.
• Supervise service of guests, being watchful of signals from guests in need of service.
• Assist manager to establish and monitor side-work duty completion.
• Assist Restaurant Manager in conducting training of new servers, menu classes and taste panels.
• Read daily E-mail/Calendar communication from Management and prepare for the next shift.
• Check restaurant for cleanliness and set up. Check service stands and aisle areas. Check tables for cleanliness and proper set up, ensure room service trays are delivered and picked up at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Ensure all employees take their breaks on time.
• Communicate verbally to provide clear direction to Poolside employees.
• Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the F & B Manager/Ass. F & B Manager.
• Attend all scheduled employee meetings and bring suggestion for improvement.
• Abide by all State, Federal liquor requirements pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages.
ROOM SERVICE
• Take room service phone orders.
• Deliver room service orders in a prompt and professional manner, when needed.
• Pick-Up trays from rooms as needed.

Perform other duties as directed, developed or assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
• Poolside Employees

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
• A minimum of 2 years experience as a server/supervisor in a comparable restaurant.
• Ability to supervise staff.
• Hotel and banquet experience preferred.
