WK is rapidly growing and seeking to expand our team with an Electrical Project Manager who will lead major projects, develop client relationships, deliver projects according to client needs and budget, managing installation teams, project financial reporting, coordinating material and tools.

This position also includes participating in project negotiations, conducting interviews, providing high-level client service, establishing long-term relationships.

The ideal candidate is a leader who has a strong understanding of the NEC as it relates to industrial installations and continually seeking innovative ways to increase our performance and efficiencies on all levels.


· Develop and lead project management technical and schedule goals, procurement and contractual requirements, personnel assignments and capacity planning.

· Develop and build strong teams for each project while delivering quality workmanship, meeting customer expectations, managing scope, delivering on time and within budget.

· Track record on profitability, productivity, quality standards and effective relationship building, while monitoring projects.

· Evaluate and continually improve the systems and processes used by the department

to effectively meet customer requirements and profitability goals.

· Manage, mentor, and develop site manager and foremen for installations.

· Monitor, plan onsite personnel in coordination with Service and HR Departments.

· Review the overall contractual requirements for all projects and specify processes.

· Ensure schedule requirements are met for all projects, readily adjust priorities and

milestones based upon changing customer needs, resource availability, and job requirements.

· Interact with the customer to validate expectations are understood and met before,

during and after project completion.

· Create change order / additional work documentation and active role in negotiations of CO/AW.

· Provide oversight for third party construction firms.

· Manage project review process with emphasis on financial forecasting.

· Ensure high quality installations, conforming to all electrical code requirements.

· Proactively and systematically communicate challenges, risks and successes.

· Provide documentation for invoicing per project terms.


· 10+ years’ experience in the electrical industrial field with progressive responsibilities

and positions.

· Individuals with Master Electrical License, Electrical Engineering Degree or qualified to

sit for the Electrical License exam are preferred.

· Solid background in industrial machinery and industrial installation projects.

· Thorough understanding of the NEC, and NFPA 79, OSHA and others, as they relate

to the industrial manufacturing industry.

· Thorough understanding of quality and safety standards for materials and production.

· Thorough understanding of production processes, fabrication of wireways and

electrical schematics.

· Field experience coordinating with construction management.

· Extensive knowledge of project scheduling, bids, take offs, change orders, and contracts.

· Demonstrated ability to develop relationships and assist in winning projects.

· Demonstrated ability to run a profitable portfolio.

· Exceptional initiative, execution and communication skills, both oral and written.

· Exceptional analytical, motivational leadership skills.

· Requires travel in the US - must have valid driver’s license.
