RN Registered Nurse

RN Registered Nurse Rehab / Med Surg / Nursing Home

Ascend National Healthcare Staffing is currently seeking RN - Registered Nurses with Nursing home /LTAC Acute care experience for PRN opportunities in the Reading area. The ideal candidate will possess at least 1 year of Rehab in the last 2 years.

Responsibilities of the RN - Registered Nurse

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care needs.
• Document patient care in the EMR according to established standards.
• Direct and delegate care to other staff in accordance with their education, credentials, and demonstrated competence by a Registered Nurse.
• Ensure professional effectiveness through education and professional development.

Requirements of the RN - Registered Nurse

• Active Pennsylvania RN license
• Minimum 1 year of Nursing home /LTAC Acute care experience
• Current BLS
• ACLS/PALS required for some specialties
• Immunizations and Health Statement required for acute care positions
