Product Engineer

NGK-Locke Polymer Insulators, Inc. of Virginia Beach., a manufacturer of polymer high voltage transmission insulators is seeking a Product Engineer.  Qualified candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.  This is considered an entry level position so no work experience is required in the field.  Responsibilities will include conducting analytical studies on engineering proposals to develop design for products, coordinating manufacturing and/or assembly of prototype products or systems and preparing design modifications as required.    Candidate should have knowledge of ISO 9001 QMS requirements, and be proficient in the use of AutoCAD 2007 or newer (minimum – AutoCAD LT).  A working knowledge of Maxwell version 11.1.1 by Ansoft Corporation is a definite plus as well as having experience with Inventor.   Proficiency using Microsoft Office applications is also required.
