Seeking a highly skilled and effective Manicurist / Nail Technician to join our Drift spa team!

Provides professional nail care treatments for Drift, a Waterfront Spa.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Performs expert nail care treatments. All treatments are to be performed to specific
  • Utilizes product efficiently, maintains product inventory and cleanliness.
  • Provides knowledge to the guest for continued nail care utilizing products sold at the Spa.
  • Be on time for your shift.
  • Acknowledge and greet all guests who enters and leaves spa facilities.
  • Maintain eye contact when addressing external and internal guests.
  • Handle guests’ questions and concerns professionally and courteously.
  • Develop ability to work without constant direct supervision and remain at assigned post for extended periods of time.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality of work environment.
  • Provide appropriate nail care treatments based on the desire and health of the guest. Do not change type of treatment without the consent of the guest.
  • Provide professional nail care treatments accordance to industry practices and consistent manner with the spa.
  • Properly educate guests in regards to Spa treatment and recommend appropriate products for each service given and other spa services.
  • Maintain a clean and well stocked environment in nail care treatment area according to Department of Health and Departmental Standards.
  • Cleans and disinfects all equipment on a daily basis.
  • Regularly attend, participate in and support training and staff meetings for the spa.
  • Communicate to management any and all occurrences involving staff or guests in the spa that require attention.
  • Perform general Spa duties, as needed.


  • Highest level of competence in nail care services for both hands and feet and has a complete understanding of all spa services presently offered.
  • Excellent human relations skills.
  • Able to communicate with the general public in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Good interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Must be flexible and adapt easily.
  • Energetic, enthusiastic and motivational.
  • Strong team player.
  • Must be comfortable with product recommendation.
  • Demonstrated competence in specialty nail treatments

Position will be required to work a varied schedule that may include evenings/nights, weekends and holidays.

High School Diploma preferred. 1-3 years nail care experience in a resort, private club or upscale salon. Licensed by the Department of Cosmetology. Current certification from an approved cosmetology school required. Interested applicants, please submit your resume.
