<li>Participates in technical due-diligence exercises</li>

We have an excellent opportunity for a Full Time <strong>Senior Software/System Architect</strong> in the Washington, DC area. If you are someone who knows how to take complex technologies and apply it to real-world problems, you will flourish in this position!</p>

<p><strong>Job Responsibilities:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Work with program and project leaders to define and create the architectural depictions and documents, ensuring logical flow, and address all issues. </li>
<li>Has experience with a variety of software programs and languages and has some experience in programming.</li>
<li>Must be able to design and discuss system strategies for platform, applications and networks.</li>
<li>Creates tactical and strategic technology roadmaps</li>
<li>Creates and evangelizes architecture, design standards, and best practices</li>
<li>Performs Proof of Concept (POC), Proof of Value (POV), and prototyping initiatives for new technologies and processes</li>
<li>Participates in technical due-diligence exercises</li>
<li>Identifies innovation opportunities for utilizing leading edge technologies</li>
<li>Participates throughout our Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), CD, and CI efforts</li>
</ul>

<p><strong>Requirements:</strong><br /> </p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree: Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or other engineering or technical discipline is required plus proven experience creating and enhancing client-facing, enterprise-scale systems. Hands-on Java or Net experience a plus</li>
<li>Ability to communicate with a wide-range of people from teams responsible for delivering applications, Architects, Developers, Product Owners, Program Managers, IT Directors & VPs</li>
<li>8+ years in an Architecture role with demonstrable enterprise influence.</li>
<li>Must be a US citizen</li>
</ul>
