Duties, Responsibilities and Qualifications
HR Administration
- Staff members receive a warm, friendly and informative HR on-boarding
- New Hire paperwork is completely thoroughly and accurately
- Assigned reports are completed timely and accurately
- Hiring support is provided as needed
- HR projects are completed timely as assigned
- HR policies and procedures are recommended
- Assists HR and Payroll coordinator with maintaining HRIS
- Assist HR and Payroll coordinator with new hire and termination procedures
Benefits
- Benefit enrollments and terminations are completed timely and accurately
- Staff is provided benefits information timely and advice and counsel is given when necessary
- Spanish Enrollment meetings are conducted timely ensuring staff understand the benefits available
- Wellness Program initiatives are supported and staff understands our wellness program
Employee Relations
- Acts as a first point of contact for employees for Spanish speaking staff members for performance management and employee relations issues.
- Supports resolution of employee relations issues and acts as a liaison for managers and Spanish speaking staff.
- Conducts exit interviews with Spanish speaking staff to ensure proper information is captured, recorded and available for analysis.
Training and Development
- Conducts training courses on schedule as assigned
- Assists in development of training programs
- Assists managers with performance evaluations
- Conducts new hire orientations
Translation
- Acts as a liaison for staff and managers, translating conversations as necessary
- Translates basic documents into Spanish as necessary
- Develops translation process for improving access to Bi-Rite Family of Business documents and resources
Skills and Specifications:
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of all HR issues
- Basic understanding of state and federal employment laws
- Relevant computer software and hardware applications knowledge.
- Ability to research, evaluate and analyze
- Able to work alone on a broad variety of projects.
- Able to exercise effective judgment, sensitivity, creativity to changing needs and situations.
- Able to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with people in course of work.
- Able to balance the needs of the staff with the needs of the business
Education and Qualifications:
- 1-2 years experience in HR administration
- HR Certification preferred
- Fluent English and Spanish required (spoken and written)
