We will be hiring morning service separate from evening service for this position, so please specify which you are most interested or available for:

Provides and maintains all products for main kitchen and delivers food from the kitchen line to the dining room in accordance with our service standards. Describes each dish as they are being delivered and helps answer any questions a guest may have about the items upon being delivered.

Responsibilities include:

Transports food items from the kitchen to the dining room and serves the items ordered to the guests following the proper steps of service as designated by restaurant management.

Maintains a clean, organized and safe workspace by following restaurant set-up standards, OSHA safety standards, and Department of Health food handling standards.

Fills out and delivers requisitions of supplies and food items for the expediter. Picks up requisitions from Purchasing and stores products in designated areas.

Labels all products and rotates items to ensure freshness

Maintains an up to date knowledge of all current menu items and steps necessary to finalize plate presentation prior to service.

Requirements include:

  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
  • Ability to carry, and walk with up to 30 lbs. .
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Organized and effectively manages time.
  • Performs general/routine cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products as assigned by supervisor to adhere to health standards.
  • Keeps floors dry and clean to avoid slip/fall accidents.
  • Performs other duties as requested by manager.
  • Understand table and seat numbers to assure food is delivered to proper guest.
  • Be able to properly explain and articulate food selections as they placed in front of guest.
  • Understand and preform table service standards in accordance with proper service standards.
  • Capable understanding of expo line to assist the chef with service

Applicants should be able to work well under pressure, be professional, efficient, detail-oriented, and courteous. We expect a team player attitude for this position. Must have a flexible schedule allowing shifts on holidays and weekends. Basic communication of Spanish is preferred as is experience in a fine dining restaurant.
