We will be hiring morning service separate from evening service for this position, so please specify which you are most interested or available for.

Sets and clears restaurant tables; stocks all service stations and assist food servers with table service to ensure total guest satisfaction. Coordinates guest dining experience closely with the service staff to ensure that all table items are placed at the right times and correctly in accordance with our service standards.

Responsibilities include:

Quickly clear dirty table settings and prepare table for resetting. Promptly and consistently reset all silverware as prescribed.

Maintain stock and cleanliness of stations for all meal periods with necessary equipment including silverware, linen and condiments. Wipe down booths and chairs, move tables and chairs, and clean floors as necessary.

Serve guests with beverages, breads and butter to begin their dining experience and replenish as necessary. Assist server with food & beverage service to ensure guest satisfaction.

Transport all dirty tableware from restaurant to dishwashing area for proper cleaning

Requirements include:

  • Perform any general cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products as assigned by supervisor to adhere to health standards.
  • Folding napkins for all meal periods throughout the day to maintain an adequate supply.
  • Perform all assigned side work to include replenishing condiments and restocking side stands.
  • Perform other duties as requested, such as cleaning unexpected spills, handling special guest requests, greeting and seating guests and ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Attend required meetings.
  • Interact with customers in a professional manner, gauging their needs and communicate the same to servers.
  • Observe proper meal timing to ensure that guests plates and glassware are removed at the proper time in accordance with service standards and server instructions.
  • Knowledge of the appropriate table settings and service ware.
  • Ability to understand and communicate English to comprehend and respond to basic guest requests.
  • Ability to understand written English to read any caution or safety notices.
  • Ability to grasp, lift and/or carry, or otherwise, transport up to 50 lbs. through a crowded room.
  • Ability to move or push goods on a hand cart/truck weighing a maximum of 200 lbs.

Applicants should be able to work well under pressure, be professional, efficient, detail-oriented, and courteous. We expect a team player attitude for this position. Must have a flexible schedule allowing shifts on holidays and weekends. Basic communication of Spanish is preferred as is experience in a fine dining restaurant.
