Front Desk Agent / Receptionist at Comfort Inn, Shelby NC

Comfort Inn in Shelby NC seeks a qualified physical front desk agent with a high level of professionalism and effective decision making.

We have a mix of shifts available throughout the week - position will consist of some days evenings (3 pm - 11 pm) and Night (11pm - 7am). Shifts are available 7 days a week - FT hours are available. If you are dependable, customer service focused and detail orientated this is the job for you!

Our Front Desk/Guest Care Associates are responsible for assisting our guest at every turn - at first contact when the guest contacts the hotel to make a reservation, providing a warm welcome to each guest as they check-in, assisting with any concerns during the stay and always looking for opportunities to go above and beyond to WOW the guest!

Flexible availability is a must - shifts will vary week to week. Some weekends and holidays are required as the hotel is open 365 days a year and 24 hours a day. All shifts and days of the week are available - the more flexible your schedule the more hours available.

Applicant must have strong interpersonal and administrative skills.

Responsibilities:

• Register & process guests and their assigned rooms
• Accommodate guest requests
• Communicating with hotel staff on the status of guest rooms
• Up Selling guest rooms and promoting hotel services
• Maintain a clean and neat front desk area
