Loop UX is a fast growing user research company based in Copenhagen, Denmark. With operations and staff in Europe and the United States, Loop UX specializes in conducting research for its clients in international markets. Loop UX’s Bay Area operations include business development, sales, client/account management, and proposal management.

Loop UX is seeking a Proposal Coordinator to join its Bay Area team. The position is work-from-home, but the successful candidate is required to reside in the Bay Area, with a requirement to travel to Berkeley, San Francisco, and throughout the rest of the area regularly.

Job Duties:

The Proposal Coordinator will report to the Chief Representative, U.S. Market, and will assist in, with opportunity to manage, all aspects of the proposal process, from initial client meetings to research design and proposal development and submission.

Primary duties include:

  • Assisting with multiple project proposals in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Working directly with Proposal team to design and develop research project plans
  • Conducting desk research and consulting with Projects team to gather information and propose solutions to complex research project related issues
  • Communicating directly with clients to clarify needs and conduct consultative sales
  • Assisting Chief Representative, U.S. with daily tasks as needed, related to proposals and all aspects of U.S. operations

Secondary duties include:

  • Proofreading/editing research reports
  • Keeping updated financial records of quotes, budgets and invoices
  • Assisting with preparation of documents for onboarding new clients and vendors
  • Assisting with ongoing projects, including travel to domestic and international markets for on-the-ground project management (as needed and dependent on skill set)
  • Other tasks as assigned

Required/Desired Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree or demonstrated relevant experience required
  • Background in qualitative research, social science, or UX design/research preferred
  • Ability to multi-task and manage several ongoing tasks at once
  • Must be detail oriented
  • Experience in project and/or event management a plus
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate across cultures and time zones (international experience and proficiency in a foreign language a plus)
  • Proficiency with productivity software required (Google Docs a plus)

 

This position will be based at home, but candidate must be available for regular local travel in the Bay Area, California to be considered. Up to 10% domestic/international travel may be required. Position details are subject to change.
