Accounting Clerk

Candidate must have minimum 2 years of solid clerical and accounting experience, preferably in hospitality or in a restaurant industry. 

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Assist & Support Accounting team with Accts Payable & Accts Receivable functions & process including resolving disputes & discrepancies
• Review and reconcile AP issues between external vendors and Company’s personnel.
• Maintaining all A/P related matters: new accounts set up, creating invoices/purchase orders, responding to all inquiries
• Assist Manager to review and reconcile bank statements
• Manage daily incoming and outgoing mails
• Maintain records and compliance documents
• Review and reconcile monthly credit card purchases using Concur
• Maintain accuracy of data in American Funds portal   
• Ad hoc projects requested by Controller

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in clerical administration
• Excellent interpersonal, written, oral, and phone communication skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Strong PC skills, Microsoft Suite
• Strong interpersonal leadership skills
• Knowledge of QuickBooks is a plus
• Detail oriented, and the ability to work independently and take initiatives in a team environment
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
