The Star on Park is Hiring Servers!

The Star on Park is a dynamic neighborhood restaurant and bar in downtown Alameda that serves award-winning deep dish and thin crust pizza made daily. In addition to signature organic salads with house-made dressings and appetizers made from scratch, we offer artisan cocktails, carefully selected wines and beer in an elegant yet comfortable environment.  

We are currently interviewing for a Servers! 

Ideally, we are looking for servers who have bartending experience and would like to work both positions. Nights and weekends are required. 

Servers in our restaurant provide outstanding service to our guests to ensure a memorable dining experience.  You will take food and beverage orders from our guests, and serve food orders and alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages to our guests’ tables according to our restaurant and/or hotel service standards. You will also be asked to assist in the maintenance of the restaurant area and equipment.   Bartenders also maintain stock and supplies and ensure the cleanliness of bar area and equipment.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum 21 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages
• Three years’ experience as a Bartender or Bar Back
• Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English with guests, management and co- workers to their understanding
• Food Handlers Certification
• TIPS/Alcohol Handling Certification
• Be a team player
