We are seeking an energetic, passionate, and experienced Sous Chef for our Flores Corte Madera location.

Traditional Mexican dishes and flavors, sourced from family recipes that originated in Mexican states from The Gulf, to The Pacific, will not just be the inspiration–they’ll be the rule. Committed to honoring Mexican tradition, ours is a San Francisco.-based Mexican restaurant, thought about in a different way.
One of our star ingredients will be masa—the dough used in making the fresh corn tortillas found on our menu. To guarantee quality, corn will be ground by hand on site using the ancient metate.
On the menu, you’ll find sharable starters, salads, snacks and mains. An assortment of roasted meats available by the pound (for sharing!), and small plates (think sopes, guacamole, tostadas and empanadas), made using the traditional recipes passed down by mothers and fathers, grandfathers and grandmothers, will be the stars.
Order the crab tostadas, salad, carnitas (they come with a side of fresh, steaming tortillas), mole, and maybe a whole-roasted fish (you’re with a few friends, after all), and you’re well on your way to a memorable night out. A cocktail (or two) is all that’s missing.
Candidates must possess the following qualities:
-Classical training and experience in Mexican cuisine
-Experienced in menu concept development
-Manages all aspects of the kitchen
-Cost control; responsible for the financial results of the kitchen
-Genuine enjoyment of working with people
-Passionate, energetic, and detail oriented
-Ability to successfully lead and manage a team
-2 Years of relevant experience
