Registered Nurse Clinic (RN)

Currently seeking RNs for contract or temp to hire opportunities in the Austin area. The ideal candidate will possess a current RN license with at least 1 year of experience as a RN

 Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse Clinic (RN) 

• Monitor patient’s condition and assess their needs to provide the best possible care and advice.
• Observe and interpret patient’s symptoms and communicate them to physicians.
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses to devise individualized care plans for patients.
• Perform routine procedures (blood pressure measurements, administering injections etc.) and fill in patient's’ charts.
• Adjust and administer patient’s medication and provide treatments according to physician’s orders.
• Perform phone triage where required.
• Responsible for Rx refill requests.
• Responsible for order processing and assisting in scheduling additional procedures.
• Inspect the facilities and act to maintain excellent hygiene and safety (decontaminating equipment, sanitizing surfaces, preparing beds etc.)

Requirements of the Registered Nurse Clinic (RN)

• Must have current RN license
• Must have at least 1 year of experience as a RN
• Clinic experience preferred
• Cardiology , ICU , Telemetry experience preferred
