LPN Licensed Practical Nurse

LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse Rehab / Med Surg / Nursing Home

Ascend National Healthcare Staffing is currently seeking LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse with Nursing home /LTAC Acute care experience for Contracts or Travel or PRN opportunities in the Lancaster area. The ideal candidate will possess at least 1 year of Rehab in the last 2 years.

Responsibilities of the LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care needs.
• Document patient care in the EMR according to established standards.
• Direct and delegate care to other staff in accordance with their education, credentials, and demonstrated competence by a Registered Nurse.
• Ensure professional effectiveness through education and professional development.

Requirements of the LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse

• Active Pennsylvania LPN license
• Minimum 1 year of Rehab / Nursing home / LTAC Acute care experience
• Current BLS
• Immunizations and Health Statement required for acute care positions
