GTO Engineering
This is a very exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and self-motivated candidate that wishes to enter the Ferrari market and automotive parts world. You will be trained (one-to-one) by one of America's most knowledgeable Ferrari parts specialists. No previous experience required, basic knowledge of automotive parts (generic) would be useful, as well as a positive and enthusiastic attitude, hard work ethic, confidence with and around people, and a willingness to learn.
You will sell spare and replacement parts for predominantly modern but also classic Ferrari cars. This will involve a range of activities from identifying the correct part or a suitable substitute based on an examination of the damaged part or description of the problem to placing orders / tracking down of suitable parts or obtaining these from foreign suppliers and arranging in-house solutions from our own workshops.
Duties and responsibilities:
1. Proactively reach out to existing as well as potential customers usually by phone, advising customers on what parts may offer the best solution to meet customer needs
2. Source and purchase parts for internal parts sales (workshop jobs), and maintain stocks of service parts
3. Taking orders over the phone, via email or occasionally in person
4. Determine replacement part availability, stock numbers and prices
5. Determine replacement parts required according to inspection of old auto parts.
6. Receive orders and fulfill orders from stock or if out of stock, liaising with suppliers or with our workshops in the UK to have replenishments made
7. Measure parts using precision measuring equipment to determine whether replacements can be made
8. Putting orders together and arranging for them to be sent by courier or making other arrangements for delivery.
9. Prepare other sales documentation
10. Receive payment or obtain credit authorization
11. Examine returned parts for defects
12. Promote and maintain Health and Safety standards
13. Be responsible for the ‘health’ of the parts inventory system, ensuring prices and stock levels are correct, and managing as necessary.

Work hours are 7am - 4pm, pay rate is dependable on experience, and negotiable.
