Foxtail Catering & Events is a full-service event planning and catering company based in the Dogpatch in SF. We have grown quickly over the past several years and now, along with our partner brands LRE Catering and 415 Catering, have grown to become one of the Bay Area's leading caterers in terms of the volume, scale, and caliber of our events, clients and venue relationships. 

Foxtail Catering is looking for motivated, friendly, and service oriented professionals to join our catering team! We are a hospitality and food-centric team, and we take as much pride in serving meticulously crafted menus, as we do bringing joy to our guests.

As a company dedicated to providing our clients with a meaningful experience via our amazing events team, we are looking for passionate individuals to join us.

Currently, we are looking to hire event cooks and chefs for our on-site event team! This will be an on-call position in which you have the freedom to pick up as many or as few event shifts as you’d like. This is perfect for someone who is self motivated, has catering/restaurant experience and is looking for a flexible schedule with rewarding work!

Starting rate is $20/hr AND UP depending on experience.

Job Requirements:

• 1+ year of professional cooking/restaurant/catering experience required
• Excellent plating skills, knife skills, and knowledge of basic cooking skills
• Willing and able to engage in all back of house assistance including prep, plating, garnishing, frying and additional back of house tasks.
• Willingness to participate in ALL aspects of catering events: engage in the tasks related to off-site catered events, this includes assisting in the building and setup of the event space and off-site kitchen.
• Punctuality, Accountability, Reliability, and Enthusiasm

• Positive attitude, Strong work ethic, Communication, & Patience

• Interest in food and catering is required. Looking for individuals who care about our company, what we do and the experience that we deliver to our clients.

• Must have a food handlers certification or be willing to get one before beginning employment
