<li>Ensures that ALL GUESTS have an AWESOME EXPERIENCE, and are EXCITED to come back.</li>
<li class="ms-hover">Manages operations of the venue, which includes daily decision-making, flexibility, staff support, guest interaction, scheduling, and effective planning while upholding standards, product quality, and cleanliness.</li>
<li class="ms-hover">Actively listens to server/guest interaction and effectively directs and develops the staff</li>
<li class="ms-hover">Scheduling: Maintains staffing at standard labor ratios and ensures the venue is properly staffed to par, at all times by utilizing labor management tools.</li>
<li class="ms-hover">Posts and communicates schedules in a timely manner.</li>
<li class="ms-hover">Actively engages with the guests during every shift.</li>
<li class="ms-hover">Expects and leads strong communication with all areas of the venue (management, trainers, tickets, runners, servers, bar, kitchen, etc.) including daily shift meetings with all staff members.</li>
<li class="ms-hover">Maintains an upbeat presence on the floor during operations and away from the office.</li>
<li class="ms-hover">Maintains the expected ambiance (lighting/sound/temperature levels/presentation) and coaches all staff members to hold that standard at all times.</li>
<li class="ms-hover">Promotes a distraction-free guest experience by enforcing our no-talk/texting policy.</li>
<li class="ms-hover">Conducts staff and keeps staff informed on new developments and upcoming events.</li>
<li class="ms-hover">Ensures all staff members adhere to the Company’s uniform standards.</li>
<li class="ms-hover">Accurately performs staff and department checkouts, following company expectations of proper/safe money handling and cleanliness standards.</li>
<li class="ms-hover">Ensures all payments are accounted for (cash and credit vouchers), all comps are verified and staff has been properly developed on tip declaration.</li>
<li class="ms-hover">Maintains proper cash handling procedures are followed, including preparing and balancing cash drawers, completing End of Day Reports and cash drops.</li>
<li class="ms-hover">Effectively opens and closes the venue ensuring all departments have completed required duties and incoming team is set up for success.</li>

<p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></p>

<li class="ms-hover">High School Diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.</li>
<li class="ms-hover">One (1) year minimum of high volume venue experience (prior Alamo Drafthouse experience will be considered in lieu of venue experience and previous theater management is beneficial).</li>
<li class="ms-hover">ServSafe Certification, local Health Cards (as required) and TABC Certification are required.</li>
<li class="ms-hover">Must be positive, fun, coachable and open-minded.</li>
<li class="ms-hover">Strong verbal and written communication skills.</li>
<li class="ms-hover">Excellent guest relation skills with focus on meeting high guest satisfaction expectations.</li>
<li class="ms-hover">Resourceful problem-solving skills.</li>
<li class="ms-hover">Consistently maintain high-performance standards.</li>

<li>Ensures that ALL GUESTS have an AWESOME EXPERIENCE, and are EXCITED to come back.</li>
<li class="ms-hover">Manages operations of the venue, which includes daily decision-making, flexibility, staff support, guest interaction, scheduling, and effective planning while upholding standards, product quality, and cleanliness.</li>
<li class="ms-hover">Actively listens to server/guest interaction and effectively directs and develops the staff</li>
<li class="ms-hover">Scheduling: Maintains staffing at standard labor ratios and ensures the venue is properly staffed to par, at all times by utilizing labor management tools.</li>
<li class="ms-hover">Posts and communicates schedules in a timely manner.</li>
<li class="ms-hover">Actively engages with the guests during every shift.</li>
<li class="ms-hover">Expects and leads strong communication with all areas of the venue (management, trainers, tickets, runners, servers, bar, kitchen, etc.) including daily shift meetings with all staff members.</li>
<li class="ms-hover">Maintains an upbeat presence on the floor during operations and away from the office.</li>
<li class="ms-hover">Maintains the expected ambiance (lighting/sound/temperature levels/presentation) and coaches all staff members to hold that standard at all times.</li>
<li class="ms-hover">Promotes a distraction-free guest experience by enforcing our no-talk/texting policy.</li>
<li class="ms-hover">Conducts staff and keeps staff informed on new developments and upcoming events.</li>
<li class="ms-hover">Ensures all staff members adhere to the Company’s uniform standards.</li>
<li class="ms-hover">Accurately performs staff and department checkouts, following company expectations of proper/safe money handling and cleanliness standards.</li>
<li class="ms-hover">Ensures all payments are accounted for (cash and credit vouchers), all comps are verified and staff has been properly developed on tip declaration.</li>
<li class="ms-hover">Maintains proper cash handling procedures are followed, including preparing and balancing cash drawers, completing End of Day Reports and cash drops.</li>
<li class="ms-hover">Effectively opens and closes the venue ensuring all departments have completed required duties and incoming team is set up for success.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></p>

<li class="ms-hover">High School Diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.</li>
<li class="ms-hover">One (1) year minimum of high volume venue experience (prior Alamo Drafthouse experience will be considered in lieu of venue experience and previous theater management is beneficial).</li>
<li class="ms-hover">ServSafe Certification, local Health Cards (as required) and TABC Certification are required.</li>
<li class="ms-hover">Must be positive, fun, coachable and open-minded.</li>
<li class="ms-hover">Strong verbal and written communication skills.</li>
<li class="ms-hover">Excellent guest relation skills with focus on meeting high guest satisfaction expectations.</li>
<li class="ms-hover">Resourceful problem-solving skills.</li>
<li class="ms-hover">Consistently maintain high-performance standards.</li>
<li class="ms-hover">Expected workweek of 30-45 hours minimum; higher volume seasons and heavier work weeks are expected.</li>
<li class="ms-hover">Basic computer knowledge (Microsoft Office) and office skills required.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>WORKING CONDITIONS: </strong>Work is typically performed in the venue. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The work involves a majority of standing, bending, stooping, twisting, climbing and some lifting up to 50 lbs.<br /><br /><strong>HAZARDS: </strong>Only those present in a normal restaurant setting; no known significant hazards.</p>

Evaluates practices and identifies areas of excessive supply usage and misuse of equipment which could lead to high costs. Arrange work to reduce or avoid overtime. Uses supplies efficiently. Uses equipment efficiently and ensures that equipment is in good working condition, cleaned and stored in assigned area upon completion of duties.</li><li>Participates in developing, planning and implementing new programs, including the development of related procedures /processes. Communicates the need for new policies and procedures to their senior leadership in a timely manner. Submits reports/plans, which are requested by Supervisors, on time. Develops short and long range plans for the accomplishment of goals; addresses all contingencies in a plan, communicates the reason for a delay in accomplishing a plan to their Supervisor within a reasonable time. Utilizes audit result, quality assurance reports and accident reports to improve the quality of service.</li><li>Develops and encourages a program of staff development. Plans the training of staff and development in advance of implementation. Trains staff members effectively and maintains detailed records of performance and training status. Ensures that policies and procedures are followed and that staff awareness to said policies are understood and being implemented.</li><li>Evaluates and documents staff performance, records, and reports personnel absences, and performs personnel counseling. Recognizes the need to counsel subordinates and performs counseling in a timely fashion. Explains to the employee clearly what his/her responsibilities are and standards of performance. Promotes a distraction-free guest experience by enforcing our no-talk/texting policy.
