Presidio Social Club is looking for an experienced Pastry Chef.  The department is a core producer for all aspects of the restaurant, we make all our bread, pastries and desserts in house.  We work as a small, tightly kneaded team and have a healthy line of communication throughout the department.  This position reports to our Executive Pastry Chef.

Your main responsibilities are:

  • Oversee all aspects of the pastry department at the restaurant
  • Develop and test recipes
  • Daily specials
  • Ordering
  • Scheduling
  • Production
  • Be familiar with current HR regulations
  • Plating

Preferred experience:

  • High volume fine dining
  • Banquet and events
  • Cake decorating
  • Bread experience
  • Bilingual preferred

  • Focaccia Bread
  • Brioche Beignet Dough
  • Challah and Savory Brioche Dough
  • French Sponge Cake
  • Scones, Muffins, Coffee Cakes, Cinnamon Rolls, Fritters, Beignets etc.
