DOSA Restaurant Managers ensure strong and ongoing customer relationships, help train, develop and retain staff, and operate the business in a manner the reinforces the highest standards for the brand.

The Restaurant Manager reports directly to the General Manager.

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

Customer Relationship Management

  • Deliver warm, welcoming and thorough standards of customer service
  • Deepen relationships with VIP and repeat guests
  • Invite and welcome new customers
  • Positive and constructive management of customer feedback

Employee Relationship Management

  • Pay close attention to employee needs and respond in a timely manner
  • Maintain an open environment that elicits feedback and fosters teamwork
  • Participate in the onboarding and training of all staff
  • Ongoing menu training to accurately describe products and confidently make recommendations
  • Actively manage and support the floor during service
  • Consistent staff communication in a respectful and informative manner
  • Create and issue timely and effective employee coaching as needed

Work Schedule & Habits

  • Maintains a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the restaurant industry
  • Manage their time effectively, including appropriate allocation for downtime and rest
  • Work a 5-day-a-week schedule with the flexibility to work on any day of the week including weekends
  • Accurate and consistent handling of cash

Floor Management

  • Ensure all opening and closing duties are completed thoroughly
  • Use pre-service lineup to train, inform and motivate staff
  • Ensure consistent and timely attendance
  • Consistently enforce dress code and hygiene standards
  • Ensure staff are effectively scheduled and labor costs are dynamically adjusted based on sales volume
  • Ensure the POS system is up to date at all times

Food Safety, Repairs & Maintenance

  • Ensure that all food preparation and safety guidelines are followed
  • Manage all safety, sanitation, and health programs
  • Ensures that all staff hold appropriate food safety credentials and certifications
  • Ensure that all work areas are clean and organized, including service stations and storage areas
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of all facilities, tools and equipment
  • Manage necessary repairs and replacements in a timely manner


Must maintain food handler certificate
