We are a busy catering company in Englewood looking for a motivated and well rounded full charge bookkeeper.  This is a full time position managing the accounting needs of this rapidly growing company.  The successful candidate will possess an ability to multi-task and a very strong attention to detail.  This candidate must also have a very well rounded knowledge of small to medium business accounting and bookkeeping.  A knowledge of tax regulations for pass through entities would be helpful although not required.

The skillset required for this position is:

-A minimum of 5 years experience in managing the accounting functions start to finish for a small/medium business.

-An advanced level of knowledge and working experience in QuickBooks Pro 2017 is mandatory.  Please do not apply if you do not feel you meet this requirement.  We will not hire someone without this experience.

-An advanced level of knowledge of financial reporting to include Balance Sheet, P&L, job costing, A/R and A/P.

-An advanced level of knowledge with payroll preparation.  We prepare all payroll in house weekly and the right candidate must be able to manage all payroll prep, reporting and tax payments.

-An advanced level of knowledge in sales tax reporting for multiple jurisdictions, cities and counties in Colorado. 

-An advanced level of ability with all Microsoft Office suites including Office365 and excel.

-A professional demeanor and excellent verbal and personal communication skills.

The responsibilities for this position include:

-Weekly payroll preparation for up to 172 employees

-Weekly and monthly financial statement preparation for management review

-Oversight of all A/R and A/P functions on a daily and weekly basis

-Credit card management and review of all charges for all company cards

-Monthly financial statements completed and footed for management review by the 15th of the following month through Balance Sheet, P&L and Trial Balance

-Timely monthly preparation of all sales tax returns for management review (by the 15th of the following month)

-Timely preparation of all payroll tax reporting for management review

-Preparation of all year end documentation and returns relating to payroll, W-2's, 1099's, Sales Tax and preliminary review of final year end books for the tax returns

Compensation will be based on experience.  This role is full time, permanent and in our office with no remote work allowed.
