WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We are presently seeking candidates for a Full Time IT Service Manager position in the Louisville, Kentucky / Southern Indiana area. This position is responsible for developing, managing, and providing quality assurance on all projects for our Small and Medium customers, including assigning the correct resources, and supervising the project from beginning to end.

  TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE

  • Knowledge of Routers, Firewalls, Switches, VPNs, and Wi-Fi devices
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Hyper-V, Clustering, PowerShell, and SQL
  • Knowledge of Cisco, Ubiquiti, and SonicWall network Products
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Desktop and Server based systems
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Remote Desktop Services
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Exchange and SharePoint
  • Knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy
  • Knowledge of Network Security Best Practices
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 Products
  • Knowledge of Dell hardware and services
  • Knowledge of HIPAA and PCI Compliance

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervise projects by creating timelines, adhering to budgets, and assigning appropriate resources
  • Help to Maintain and progress relationships with technology, software, and security vendors
  • Develop and nurture relationships with client base and help assess their technology needs
  • Recommend improvements for effectiveness, efficiency, and security of client networks
  • Work together in a team environment and assist members with technical issues
  • Assess, maintain, and document current network environments for all clients
  • Effectively manage project progress and communicate updates to the client
  • Consult with Managed Service customers to determine needs
  • Perform deployments and server roll outs
  • Insure Quality control on all projects
  • Provide high level technical support

REQUIREMENTS 

  • Excellent project management, organizational, oral, and written communication skills
  • Security Plus and 3+ years of working as an Information Security Professional
  • “Team player” mentality and willingness to work with others
  • Certifications for Microsoft-based technologies and products
  • Superb decision making and leadership capabilities
  • Project Plus qualifications or equivalent
  • Sales and Managed Service experience
  • 7+ Years of IT or related experience
  • Positive thinker and detail oriented
  • Experience in strategic planning
  • Conflict resolution experience
  • Documentation skills
